About The Space

Root & Restore is located within Evergreen Wellness Sanctuary on Olympia's historic Westside, just off Highway 101, with ample free parking. As you walk through the door you’re greeted by the sounds of the forest—birdsong, rustling trees, and an atmosphere that helps your nervous system settle before you even start your session. Complimentary snacks are available while you wait and after your session. These aren't extras—they're part of caring for you.

During your session, your massage takes place in a private treatment room that's intentionally cozy. Warm lighting and a comfortable sanctuary designed to feel like a soft reset for body and spirit.

The bathroom is stocked with thoughtful essentials: contact lens supplies, toothbrushes, hair ties, makeup remover, and other necessities in case you've forgotten something. A robe and slippers are available if you need to step out during your session.

Every massage includes a heated table, warm towels, and optional steaming eye masks. Soft music will be playing, but silence or your own playlist is always welcome—this is your space, your rhythm.

An ADA-compliant hydraulic table with adjustable breast support arrives February 1st, offering greater comfort and accessibility for all bodies.

About Cody

I'm Cody, the practitioner and founder of Root & Restore Massage.

I bring a deeply intuitive, grounded presence to my work—one that's less about following a routine and more about listening to what your body needs in the moment. My approach is informed by years of studying how living systems find balance, regulate stress, and restore themselves. I work with your body's natural rhythms, not against them, helping you reconnect with a sense of ease and flow that might have gotten buried under tension or pain.

This perspective didn't come from massage school alone. I grew up in the Adirondacks, learning to read the patterns of the natural world, and later worked as a field biologist studying stream ecosystems. Watching how water finds its path and how living systems recover from disruption taught me something essential about resilience—and eventually led me here, to work that feels like the most direct way I can support that process in people.

In each session, my intention is to meet you where you are, honor your body's wisdom, and help you leave feeling not just relaxed, but truly cared for and supported in your broader healing.
